Palm Sunday
Our Palm Sunday started off at a Christian and Missionary Alliance church. We were hosted by David and Patti Ens (son of Marie Ens of Place of Rescue). It was nice to see the church led by the Cambodians with only a little trace of North American sentiment; such as hymns translated into Khmer. After lunch with the Ens together with two other couples; Bill and Ilana and Julie and Chris, we set our course for the Place of Rescue. It was a joy for me to return and see the community again. Marie Ens, the founder, has been on the road fundraising for the past 2 months, but her co-leader Sokhan was able to give us a wonderful tour. The children in Rescue are definitely secure and happy.
