Road to the Place of Rescue

Road to the Place of Rescue

The road to rescue is a road to hope. On the property are 140 beautiful children, dedicated dorm parents and staff, many women who are effected by HIV/Aids and their children as well as a house of grannies.

This was probably the most inspiring and hopeful orphanage I have even been at.

- Hopeful because of the love that is given so freely by compassionate and selfless staff lead by Marie herself and

- Inspiring because of the hospitality and love that is resident in the children.

Precious Children of Rescue

Children live together in small clans led by (a) houseparent(s). This provides as sense of family to every child and minimizes the institutional feel that large children’s homes can have.
